New Art Exhibit from Dr. Jad Aridi, Brown ID Fellow
Jad Aridi completed the Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Brown in 2022. Jad is originally from a small town in Lebanon called Baysour nestled in green slopes of Mount Lebanon. He completed his medical school in Beirut and moved to Philadelphia in 2016 to complete his internal medicine residency at Lankenau Medical Center, which he did in 2019 and moved to Providence for an infectious disease fellowship. Jad has always been a passionate enthusiast of art in all its forms from paintings to music, to theatre to movies but only recently started to produce it. In 2019, an endeavor which started as an Instagram page to post doodles, continued to grow and became a personal website and blog with hopes of expanding further as he continues to grow his craft. Jad mostly works with pen, pencil, ink, markers. Gouache and Acrylic paint have been a recent introduction. This is Jad’s first exhibition.
