Below you will find several Rhode Island based housing resources. While these are not affiliated with Lifespan or the Department of Medicine, these are properties where our residents have chosen to live in the past....
Apartment Buildings
- Grant Mill Apartments: Loft style apartments near Broadway on Federal Hill.
- Pearl St Lofts: Loft style apartments on the West End.
- The Halstead: very popular old industrial building in Smith Hill with huge windows, gym, pool/jacuzzi, and reservable open spaces. Lots of residents live here.
- Park Row West: Between downtown and the East Side. Another upscale apartment with many amenities.
- Park View: Located in the Armory District, this apartment complex is a nicely renovated older building with all 2+ bedroom units.
- Rising Sun Mills: Located in the Olneyville area of Providence and thus more affordable - there are some fun spots (and grocery stores) right nearby but otherwise not a lot within walking distance.
- River House Apartments: Brand new apartment complex on Eddy St in the Jewelry District (between Downtown and Upper South Providence) near Coro/RIH. Smaller apartments, expensive, but very walkable to RIH and located near the pedestrian bridge and near the new Downtown Rapid Transit Connector.
- Regency Plaza: large apartment complex right Downtown. Many residents live here. They have communal spaces available and a pool that's lovely in the summer!
- Rooms & Works: very nice and hip loft style apartments with large windows in the West End. Brand new. Apartments are above Knead Donuts, Long Live Beerworks, and Far West bar. Coworking space located on the first floor. Parking fee.
- Rubber Lofts: beautiful, airy apartments, located in the Valley neighborhood Increasingly popular.
- The Upton Residences: a brand new 30-unit luxury apartment building nestled in the West End of Providence. Covered parking (for a fee) on the first floor of the apartment.
